Campayapaan (8)

April 20-26, 2014. After 2 months of preparation and fund raising, we were able to journey with 19 B’laan students in a week long summer peace camp tagged as Campayapaan.

Organized by Peacebuilders Community, in partnership with Switotwins Digital Storytelling Philippines and Artickles, Campayapaan was able to provide peacebuilding training, digital storytelling and accessories making for the B’laan youths. The faculty of Bacongco National Highschool Extension, the parents of the students and the barangay officials gave their full support in the peace camp.

The Campayapaan Team and the participants are very grateful to all the generous souls who gave their support to realize the camp. There will be letters that will be sent to the sponsors from the campers and a full video documentary is set for release to show a glimpse of what happen during the five days at camp.

We are truly blessed to be able to journey for peace with these young people. The team is looking forward for the next “Campayapaan”! Once again “Bong Kamdom” (thank you). May the Kasafew (peace) of Ad’wata (God) embrace us all! Please watch the video below to show the highlights of the camp.
